Project 06.2017 - 10.2017 technical realisation

New website for Louisenlund

MOTOR created the new website for the private school Louisenlund. We gave the content a user centric structure and the website got a clean and minimalistic screendesign without loosing the brand appeareance. To establish the personal touch of Louisenlund the visuals focus on the humans - therefor we did great a on-site photo shooting.

Goto the website: https://www.louisenlund.de/

The responsive website fits on screens from smartphone up to 70” preseantation screens. While keeping the design clean and minimalistic, we worked much on the details like specially desiged content elements, folding content, decent color overlays, smooth animations and transitions, high resolution graphics (svg) and much more.

A special aspect are the highly optimised responsive images with different aspect ratio and crop areas, various resolutions, lazy-loading and pre-loading as well as sRGB color profile embedding.

For technical realisation we have choosen TYPO3 as CMS. TYPO3 perfectly matches the requirements of a hierarchical and multilingual website with much freedom to individually design single pages. Besides this, TYPO3 is free and open source and one of the most commom CMS in education in Germany.

For the editors we highly configured and reduced the backend to the editors needs with high client satisfaction (they cancelled the training after one hour because its so easy to use).
